Our journey began with hands-on experience running an Adult Residential Facility in San Diego, serving adults with IDD and co-occurring behavioral health needs. Our Leadership
Carson is the founder of 4 Pillars Care, establishing an Adult Residential Facility in San Diego that serves adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and co-occurring behavioral health needs. Under his leadership, the facility is vendored through the San Diego Regional Center at Service Level 4, providing comprehensive behavioral supports, rehabilitative programming, and 24/7 care in a safe, home-like environment.
Carson oversees a team of administrators, direct support professionals, and behavioral specialists, ensuring programs remain person-centered, clinically sound, and fully compliant with state and regional regulations. His responsibilities span program development, quality assurance, staff training, and family engagement—all with the singular goal of empowering residents to grow in independence, dignity, and community inclusion.
Dorothy brings more than 15 years of experience leading residential and community-based programs for adults with intellectual, developmental, and complex behavioral health needs. As Executive Director of our Supported Living Services program, she provides strategic leadership and ensures that every service we deliver is person-centered, compliant, and designed to empower individuals to live independently with dignity.
Her extensive background includes overseeing day-to-day operations of multiple licensed residential facilities, supporting clients in transitioning from group living to semi-independent and supported living settings, and collaborating closely with families, clinical teams, and regional stakeholders to achieve meaningful outcomes. Dorothy’s hands-on leadership ensures that every client and family feels supported, heard, and respected.
